Carlin's Nashville presence began in 1989 when Carlin owners Caroline and Robert Bienstock, along with partner Bob Burwell, opened Bro 'N Sis Music on Music Row in Nashville. The new division was to serve Carlin's presence in country music.

Bro 'N Sis Music steadily grew throughout the 1990s with the acquisition of many catalogs, including: Michael Martin Murphey, Keith Sykes Music, Rob Galbraith Publishing, Rick Bowles Music, Tom Shapiro Music, Paxton/Paxwin College Fight Songs and Moraine Music Group. Administration deals were also established with Crazy Cajun Music and Moss Rose Music. Some key writers that have written for Bro 'N Sis Music are: Kieran Kane, Keith Sykes, Elizabeth Cook, Todd Snider, Billy Montana, Brent Maher, Mark Selby, Max T. Barnes, Bob Corbin, Amy Dalley, Sean Locke and Hardie McGehee.

In 2009, Bro 'N Sis Music, along with Carlin's other roots and country music catalogs, were placed under the umbrella of Carlin Nashville. The new office took on the role of representing Carlin America's vast interest in roots, country, R&B and rock music.

Carlin Nashville's team of knowledgeable staff is dedicated to helping you find the right music for your needs.
